EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION & ITINERARYFood is an expression of a culture and nothing social happens in Spain without food and good wine (expect maybe social media!). Barcelona hosts 39 fresh food markets, where Spaniards traditionally do their shopping, even in today's modernized world!
Embrace the culture and enjoy an unforgettable experience on our private market and cooking experience. Your chef, a local foodie, will meet you in Barcelona's infamous Boqueria Market while getting a feel for the market with your chef at your side, you will decide what you will cook. You will buy the ingredients needed for your desired dishes before setting off to covert them into delicious local dishes. With your ingredients in hand, you will head to the hills of Barcelona to the chef's home overlooking the city. After enjoying a drink and the views, it is time to learn about Spanish cooking and create a great meal. You'll enjoy the fruits of your labor on the terrace with views over city! WHAT'S INCLUDED

"A genuine and friendly "feel good" food experience"
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience, buying food at the market, the welcome drink on the roof terrace, preparing the food and eating it in one of the most warm and friendly house I have ever visit, it was all truly great.
We were 14 at a total, including 6 children from the age of 4 to 12. We all had a great time and everybody was involved in making the different dishes. There was always something for everybody to do. I highly recommend this experience if you want to do something unique in Barcelona.

"Perfect Family Cooking Class for All Ages"
The chef met us in the Boqueria Market and he wandered around with me and my 3 kids (from 7-12) and my husband, asking us what we liked to eat, checking out what was fresh and looked good, and coming up with ideas all over the map.
After making sure to include my kids' stated choices, we went back to his amazing house. That, in itself, was a great local experience. We had a tremendous dinner at his long family table afterwards. Truly a memorable experience, and a MUST DO when you're in Barcelona.
