I often compare the famous architect, Antoni Gaudi's designs to those of the illustrations that can be found in Dr Seuss's books. His buildings certainly bring a unique touch to Barcelona!
Really all of his buildings are great for kids, but Casa Batllo - with its legendary story of the Dragon and Saint George is my favorite! After all, even the kid inside adults likes a story about a princess, a dragon and a prince?!
All tickets now include a wonderfully interactive video guide that draws in even the most stubborn of travelers. Combined with gentle audio the video is filled with animated versions of the nature that inspired Gaudi's designs - from swimming sea turtles to a mushroom inspired fireplace.
For the youngest of our travelers, you might want to listen to the audio part of the guide yourself, which is on earbuds, and use the images on the iPad with them.
